ESPN: WATCH THIS

ESPN asked us to create an anthem spot that celebrates their company, shines a light on all their innovations from 2023 and speaks to a younger, more internet native audience. So with all that in mind, we created ‘Watch This’ - a campaign that not only showcases the multiverse of ESPN content, is born of the real behavior of fans sharing something they love with their friends, and harkens back to the playful spirit of the people that work there. Deep down we’re all athletes, pushing ourselves to go further, do it faster, try things no one’s ever see before. In a world where fun is a scarcity, we helped ESPN plant their flag in the ground. This campaign is a promise that they will never stop putting play at the center of everything they do and make people want to share with their friends and say…. Watch This.

ESPN: FIRST TAKE

After showcasing over 20 different people from the ESPN universe, we realized we had made a grave mistake. We forgot Mad Dog. On Christmas Day we crossed our fingers as our spot aired and hoped that we could sneak it by without a him noticing. We were wrong. On the very first segment, of the very first episode of First Take after the holiday Mad Dog made it clear to us he was not thrilled about being left out in a now iconic on air rant.

ESPN: WATCH THIS 2.0

After Mad Dog’s impassioned speech, we knew we had to make it right. So we sprung into action and recut the entire spot giving Mad Dog the deference he so rightly deserved. The following week on First Take, Stephen A + Molly got to show it to him live. We all had a laugh.
